Bella Mae's promotes peace through tea.
I would love to tell you that drinking tea is the only way to achieve peace but we all know that’s not true. Peace is a concept of harmony, stress free state, and calmness. Without peace there would be chaos and conflict.
Tea is relaxing, it slows down a racing mind, and full of feel goods. If you are a busy mom (or dad), entrepreneur, or anyone that feels they are carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders, this post is for you. It’s time to relax, release, and discover peace.
In addition to drinking tea, below are 10 ways to discover peace.
- Take a solo drive. This does not include running errands. Driving solo is very therapeutic. you can be loud, obnoxious, or goofy. The car is a judgement free zone.
- Journal. Writing down your thoughts and feeling sheds the extra weight off your shoulders and gives you a bit of clarity. Clear your mind of negative energy so you can focus on the positive. The best part is you can always revisit your past and see how much you have grown.
- Stretch. You will be amazed what a good stretch can do. It looses up muscles, helps with flexibility, decreases the aches and pains.
- Create a Dance Playlist. Dance is the purest expression of self. Nothing like getting lost in the rhythm and the lyrics. Close your eyes and let loose.
- Do It Afraid. We often make excuses for not starting a venture, working our way through the bucket list, or simply trying an activity that will bring joy. Just do it, even if you are afraid.
- Upgrade. There will be times when you have the opportunity to upgrade. When it comes to your comfort and well being, upgrade! Upgrade tickets, seats, or meals. Your future self will thank you. You work hard. You deserve it.
- Read for fun. When was the last time you read a good mystery or drama novel? A good book will take you to another world forgetting about any of your own troubles.
- Love on the most hated part of your body. I know this is easier said than done. When you love yourself unconditionally you will soon realize you are made perfectly.
- Know your flaws and strengths. Understanding who you are is a process. When you understand your strengths and weaknesses, you can be a better version of yourself.
- See a therapist. Adulting is hard. Managing everything in life on your own is overwhelming. Whether you are working through trauma or need to talk things out, a good therapy session enables you to release.
I wish all my good people peace. If you try any of these activities or have suggestions, let a lady know.
PS. Pair A Great Day in June with activities two and seven and double your peaceful moments.
…because it’s peace
