It's National Hot Tea Month!
We are starting 2021 with a much-needed celebration. Tea is the second most consumed beverage in the United States. So why wouldn’t there be a National Hot Tea Day. Tell a friend, family member, heck shout it out to the world. You could always celebrate this month by drinking your favorite cuppa, but you can do that anytime. This year let’s be different. Bella Mae’s Tea Co. is giving you three ways to celebrate this joyous month.
#1. Have a (virtual) tea party.
It’s no secret that everything has gone virtual. If we can celebrate holidays and birthdays virtually, why not have your very own virtual tea party? All you need is tea, a few good people, and a video conferencing platform (Zoom, Google Hangouts, Skype, Facebook private room).
Schedule your tea party during breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner–anytime is the perfect time for tea. Ask your guests to prepare their snacks and of course a pot of that good stuff for your time together.
A tea party should be intimate and manageable. A great way to have a bonding moment with the people you love. Catch up on the day’s events, reminisce on old times, or choose a subject that is a great conversation starter.
#2. Join the Bella Mae's 5- Day Tea Challenge.
If you are addicted to tea like myself then you are more than eager to try new teas and herbal blends. Join the challenge and try five different teas/blends. Choose teas you have never tried before or may even have reservations about. There are more than 1000 flavors of tea in the world. Let’s start exploring. Goal: a new tea each day.
The challenge begins on Jan. 11 on the Bella Mae’s Tea Facebook page and Instagram stories. Use hashtag #5DayTeaChallenge.
Be sure to take notes as you taste. You will definitely want to keep track of the teas you enjoy.
# 3. Surprise Your Bestie with Your Favorite Tea.
Sharing is caring. Why keep a slice of happiness to yourself? Celebrate the month by gifting your best friend(s) the tea(s) you enjoy. Nothing deepens a friendship like a discussion about tea and other things..hehe. Share an afternoon spilling the tea over tea.
National Hot Tea Month gives homage to the traditions, origins, and the culture it represents. For so many people in so many countries, tea is peace, comfort, and tradition.
However you decide to celebrate National Hot Tea Month; live, love, laugh, and tea.
